"This strategic acquisition is the latest in a series of efforts to continue driving our commercial business to the next level, giving us an oppor- tunity to reach our customers with unmatched service in every fire, life safety and security discipline across the United States," ADT Commercial E x e c u t i v e Vi c e P re s i d e n t , D a n Bresingham, said in the announce- ment. Family-owned and operated since 1974, Security Corporation has earned customer loyalty by provid- ing responsive customer service and innovative security products to businesses, financial institutions, academic centers and government offices in the Midwest region. ADT completed its acquisition of Red Hawk Fire & Security in December for $317.5 million in cash. ADT noted in that announcement that its business customers now repre- sent 25 percent of total revenue. "Commercial security is one of the core pillars of ADT's growth strat- egy," Jim DeVries, ADT's president and chief executive officer, said in Red Hawk Fire & Security acquisition announcement. Briscoe Protective's new branding B Safe Security makes key acquisitions CENTEREACH, N.Y.—Briscoe Protective, a commercial fire and security services provider based here, recently announced the launch of its new corporate brand identity, redesigned logo and website. Their original group of brands — Briscoe Protective Systems; Worldwide Security; GC Alarm; SCAN Security; and Bellringer Security — have been consolidated under one name Briscoe Protective to form a cohe- sive brand identity. "Taking the time to really listen to customer needs and being able to offer the flexibility to meet those needs is truly important to us and what sets this organization apart from other industry service providers," Alexander Schuil, CEO, said in the announcement. John Colehower of Mergers & Acquisitions, LLC facilitated these acquisitions. "The purchase of these two companies gives B Safe, Inc. greater depth of coverage in Wilmington, Delaware and Toms River, New Jersey," B Safe, Inc. President, Philip Gardner, said in the announcement. "Both companies were chosen based on their locations with- in B Safe's current territories, allowing B Safe to continue its commitment to total customer satisfaction." One of the company's goals is to consistently deliver quality in terms of technology, products and customer service, which has served them well, gain- ing the trust of approximately 20,000 clients. The acquisitions position B Safe to continue to grow. "We brought on about 3,000 accounts and around $100,000 in RMR," Anthony Paparo, marketing manager, B Safe Security told SSN. It has also been the habit of B Safe Security to provide employ- ment for those from newly acquired companies. In fact, "some of the best employees over our 40-year history have come from the companies that we've joined forces with," Neil Appel, vice president of sales and marketing, B Safe Security, said. These acquisitions contin- ue to set the stage for B Safe to provide an excellent client experience to new and estab- lished customers. "We do this through helpful and courteous representatives that maintain a sense of urgency and respect for issues and concerns, as well as expert certified technicians and consultants who work to ensure clients' expectations are exceeded," Appel said.
