This purchase will enhance ACRE's s t r a t e g i c e x p a n s i o n plans for strengthen - ing its access control business and product portfolio, particularly in North America. F i n a n c i a l d e t a i l s of the transaction were not released. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018. By SSN Staff SAN JOSE, Calif. and LAS VEGAS—Arlo Technologies Inc., the maker of network connected cameras, announced the Arlo Security System at CES 2019. Designed to complement Arlo camera monitoring capabilities, Arlo's latest solution provides users with the ability to create a "seamless home or small busi - ness DIY security system," the company said in the announce - ment. The system includes the Arlo Multi-Sensor as well as the Arlo Siren and Arlo Remote, all pow - ered by the Arlo SmartHub and managed by the Arlo app, which instantly notifies users of impor - instantly notifies users of impor tant events or emergencies. The Arlo Security System will be available in the second half of 2019. "The Arlo Security System will provide consumers the abil - ity to elevate and customize the security measures they deploy to protect their homes or small businesses," Pat Collins, senior vice president of Arlo products, ACRE's CEO, Joseph Grillo, stated that this transaction will continue to expand ACRE's competitive position in a highly fragmented access control mar - ket with great growth potential. "With the international portfolio fully integrated, it was time to turn our focus to North America."
