Do you have kids? Pets? Yes, my wife and I have been married for 15 years and have two boys. Now that the kids are out of diapers, we decided to invest in a golden- doodle named Tucker. Turns out he has a talent for digging holes and eating socks … so that's working out really well! Where are you from and what would you say you like most about where you live? I'm from Minneapolis and we love the lake culture we have in the Twin Cities. Nothing better for year-round fun than being able to swim, boat, fish and skate with the kids. Our city is special for its vibrant culture, great nature and active lifestyle—and centrally located for my travels in all directions! Do you have any hobbies or special interests? Every winter my buddies and I snowmobile way up into the Canadian wilderness for a very primitive week of ice fishing that knocks a big slushy hole in my stress levels and re-sets my energy for the new year. What can you say has been the most significant development for the security chan- nel over the last 10 years? The most significant development has been the move from analog to digital, requiring development of IT knowledge and skills. What are your views on security moving forward? It's really exciting to see how video management is moving beyond security to endless possibilities for all kinds of operational benefits, with IoT data intelligence and the coming of AI efficiencies. —Paul Ragusa Five Questions COMPANY (ticker) Price Previous 52-WK HIGH 52-WK LOW EPS ADT (ADT) 7.68 8.39 13.02 6.93 0.51 Alarm.com (ALRM) 48.13 56.15 60.20 33.39 0.74 Allegion (ALLE) 83.96 89.10 92.87 73.85 2.98 Ascent Capital Group (ASCMA) 1.13 0.95 13.19 0.76 -26.10 Cisco Systems Inc.
