S ECURITY SYSTEMS News is excited to announce this year's Cloud+ key- note speaker—John Yeoh, research director, Americas, for the Cloud Secu- rity Alliance, an organization dedicated to defi ning and raising awareness of best prac- tices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment. With more than 15 years of experience in research and technol- ogy, Yeoh has spent time as an analyst, research- er, and executive in academia and govern- ment, and is a technologist and published author with areas of expertise in cyber- security, cloud computing, information security, and next generation technolo- gies (IoT, Big Data, SecaaS, Quantum). His thought leadership has been pre- sented in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, SC Magazine, USA Today, Information Week and others, and he sits on numer- ous government and industry technology committees—with the FCC, NIST, ISO, and CSA, for example—in the develop- ment of cloud security standards, tools and solutions. Yeoh will kick-off the 3rd annual Cloud+ conference—returning to Austin, Texas, Nov. 28-29—the one show in the security industry that focuses solely on everything cloud. Cloud adoption is spreading through- out the security industry, as manufactur- ers and systems integrators alike realize the potential of cloud computing.
