"We are growing," Gene- tec CEO Pierre Racz said. "In 2017, we expect to welcome our 1,000th employee in one of our nine offices around the world." The company is expanding and ren- ovating its headquar- ters here and recently moved its Paris office to a larger space. The company, which is celebrating its 20th anni- versary, is undergoing rapid growth, experiencing a CAGR of 28 percent over the past five fiscal years, with significant growth in North America as well as Latin America, Carib- bean, Middle East & Africa, Europe and APAC. Post Browning acquisition strengthens offerings in financial vertical By Paul Ragusa TEANECK, N.J.—Hanwha Techwin unveiled its lat- est chipset, Wisenet 5, on Jan. 20, announcing that the company is also moving for- ward with a branding initia- tive that will put the Wisenet logo, instead of Samsung's, on all its cameras and products moving forward. "Wisenet has become a strong enough name that we are going to start utilizing it as our brand for our cameras, which starts with the X series i m m e d i a t e l y a n d f o l l o w s through in the future on all product releases," Cook said during the press announce- ment. "We will ultimately fade out the Samsung name as we go in time." The new Wisenet 5 chipset "will define a new standard in the market on video cam- eras—this is the next revolu- tion of video surveillance in cameras," Cook said.
