Where are you from? I was born and raised in Texas, born in San Angelo and raised in Amarillo. I went to BYU, met my wife during a summer sales job in Texas and took her back with me to BYU until I fnished school. Where do you live now and what do you like about it? I'm based in the Dallas area. We live in a smaller city, Roanoke. We're close to everything that you'd want in a big city. And, Roanoke has a cool little downtown strip with a bunch of unique restaurants, a great place to take our kids. Tell me about your family. We have four young kids, the youngest is 5 months, the oldest is 8. The youngest and oldest are girls, with two boys, 4 and 6, in the middle. I try to do one-on-ones with them—my son calls it a daddy-kid date. I do those as often as I can. We also try to do most everything we can do as a family. There's a nice park in our neighborhood, we like to go out to eat, go to malls and movies, whatever we can do to keep the kids happy and entertained. With four young children do you ever fnd time to do something on your own? I don't come across much spare time, but I do play on a local rec soccer team so I manage to get some exercise in. I also like to talk to entrepreneurs. I talk to people at church who run their own businesses, I talk to friends. I like to read about entrepreneurs, too; I wish I did that more, it's something I enjoy doing. What's something your coworkers and clients might not know about you that is important? My wife and I teach two Sunday school classes at church for 12- to 13-year- olds and for 14-year-olds. I absolutely love working with the kids. They're such a good group of kids, they make it easy. —Amy Canfeld Five Questions COMPANY (ticker) Price Previous 52-WK HIGH 52-WK LOW EPS The ADT Corp.
