It adds 31,000 accounts, worth approxi- mately $11 million in RMR. T h e d e a l i s s u b j e c t t o government and regulatory approvals and is expected to close this summer. Protectron's customers are 75 percent residential. The company has four central stations and 900 employees. With approximately 80 dealers, Protectron has the largest dealer network in Canada, according to Daniel Demers, By Tess Nacelewicz DALLAS—After launching one year ago, in April 2013, AT&T;'s new home security/ home automation service, Digital Life has expanded across the nation to a total of 75 markets, the company recently announced. "We're very pleased with the first year in terms of establishing a nationwide footprint, the operation, the sales and the customer expe- riences," AT&T; Digital Life President Kevin Petersen told Security Systems News. He also said the company plans to keep on growing Digital Life. "We will con- tinue to expand aggressively throughout the rest of the year. Our model allows us to go anywhere our wire- less footprint goes, which gives us a lot of variability in terms of that addressable market throughout the coun- try. We're not stopping at 75 [markets]." Petersen said Digital Life is now being offered to 65 to 70 million households and "I think that covering 80 to 90 million households by the end of the year is very doable for us." Also, to celebrate its one- year anniversary, the telecom, based here, is offering special promotions to new and exist- ing customers that run until June 30. "We're growing into new ter- ritories, but our back office and design center [work] is all done here," Jeff Nunberg, ISS CEO said. "We're finalizing plans with the architect now," Nunberg said. "In ten months we should have the new space." In business since 1962, ISS is a PSA Security owner that does CCTV, fire, access, and life safety and mass notifica- tion systems.
